Can I claim for compensation if I have no insurance?
Yes you can. The way we claim for any losses such as injury compensation or a damaged bike, is by requesting the “at fault” insurer pay for your losses.
If you do happen to have a bike insurance policy, this is generally to replace you bike if it was stolen. Some insurers have links to Orange Spokes Claims and request that we look after their injured clients for them.
The information you need to make a successful claim is important. Having the details of the person that caused the accident is key but should you not have them, witness details and doorbell footage can be a great alternative.
